Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment Dr Koh Poh Koon to Participate in the G20 Agriculture Ministerial Meeting in Bali, Indonesia

Singapore, 27 September 2022 – Dr Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Sustainability and the Environment, will be attending the G20 Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting in Bali, Indonesia, from 27 to 29 September 2022. Singapore’s participation in the Meeting as a guest country is at the invitation of Indonesia, which holds the G20 Presidency this year.

2 For 2022, the G20 Agriculture Working Group (AWG)’s theme is “Balancing Food Production and Trade to Fulfil Food for All”. At the Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting, SMS Koh will be delivering statements to share Singapore’s views on building resilient and sustainable agriculture and food systems, and sustaining agricultural trade to ensure food for all.

3 SMS Koh will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, and the Singapore Food Agency.
