Miss Cheryl Chan Wei Ling: To ask the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment since the launch of the Singapore Food Story R&D Programme in 2019 (a) what are some of the tangible outcomes from the research and development projects funded thus far; and (b) amongst the funded projects, which aspects of nutritional needs are likely to be better fulfilled for our food security with further research and development.
Answer:
1 The first grant call for the Singapore Food Story R&D Programme was awarded in 2021. The approved projects are being implemented and will take a few years for measurable outcomes.
